Kolon Global Earns 'Top' Grade in MOLIT Mutual Cooperation Evaluation for 2 Consecutive Years

Kolon Global (CEO & President Kim Youngbum) announced on the 3rd that it has received the highest grade ('Top') in the "2026 Construction Business Mutual Cooperation Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).

Following its first 'Top' grade rating last year, Kolon Global achieved the highest rating for two consecutive years, once again earning recognition for its dedicated efforts toward mutual growth with partner companies.

The "Construction Business Mutual Cooperation Evaluation" is a system designed to establish close cooperative relationships between general and specialized contractors, as well as between large and small-to-medium construction businesses. MOLIT annually evaluates large enterprises and general contractors with a Construction Capability Evaluation amount of 500 billion KRW or more, assessing areas such as ▲joint venture and subcontracting performance, ▲partner company fostering, and ▲credibility. Scores across each category are combined to categorize companies into five grades: Top, Excellent, Good, Average, and Insufficient. A overall score of 95 points or higher is required to earn the highest 'Top' grade.

This achievement reflects the fruit of Kolon Global's continuous efforts toward win-win partnerships with suppliers. In May, Kolon Global participated in and signed the "Construction Industry Mutual Cooperation and Fair Trade Agreement" hosted by the Fair Trade Commission as a member of the general construction sector. Recently, amidst surging raw material prices driven by external supply chain instabilities such as conflicts in the Middle East, the company has worked to ease the management burden on partners by promptly adjusting delivery prices during emergency periods.

With this rating, Kolon Global will receive various incentives for one year starting this month, including Pre-Qualification (PQ) bonus points for public bids issued by the Public Procurement Service and local governments, additions to its Construction Capability Evaluation amount, and reductions in penalty points under the Framework Act on the Construction Industry.
